SHERRY BIKE MARATON
The SHERRY BIKE combines the personal challenge with the opportunity to discover one of Spain’s great cultural and natural heritages, Jerez de la Frontera and the Marco del Jerez. Cyclists will ride through the most famous avenues, streets and squares of the city of Jerez de la Frontera and the most magical paths and lanes of the vineyards of the Marco del Sherry.
The SHERRY BIKE is designed for everyone, so you can enjoy it with MTB, GRAVEL and E-MTB bikes.
Description
The Sherry Bike Marathon will have a distance of approximately 81 kms, starting on Saturday 3rd May at 8:30 am from the Las Copas de Gonzalez Byass winery. The first kilometres are an urban route through the main streets of the city before entering the sea of vineyards of the Marco del Jerez.
Once immersed in the vineyards, we will head towards El Puerto de Santa María, touring its vineyards before returning to Jerez in the direction of Mesas de Asta, passing through some of the most representative vineyards of the Marco del Jerez with their characteristic vineyard houses.
Once we arrive at Mesas de Asta, we will return to Meta crossing new estates and vineyards until we reach Jerez where we will arrive at the winery Las Copas de Gonzalez Byass, where the finish line will be installed.

Recommended material
The organisers recommend that SHERRY BIKE riders carry the following equipment for the event:
- Mobile phone with a charged battery.
- Containers and/or watertight bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1L.
- Sunglasses.
- Sun cream: Total protection.
- Electrolytes and/or mineral salts.
- Food reserve: bars, gels...
- Puncture repair kit
Cloakroom
The organisers will have a cloakroom service where runners can leave their belongings, located in the start/finish area.
The cloakroom will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
CONSIDERATIONS
● Please do not leave valuables in the bags. The Organization is not responsible for the objects handed in.
Showers
Runners will be able to use the showers located in the Bodega de Las Copas (finish line).
We recommend checking the weather forecast the days before to choose the material to use
